Bangalori Karhi Biryani Urdu, English Recipe Masala Mornings

Ingredients:


Mutton 3/4kg
Rice ½ kg
Ginger garlic 1tbsp+2 tbsp
Salt
Coriander leaves chopped
Green chilies 8-10
Garam masala: Cloves 5-6. Cinnamon 2 sticks
Podina handful
Yogurt ½ kg
Milk 1 cup
Saffron ¼ tsp
Oil ½ cup
Onion fried 1cup
Potatoes 3-4
Turmeric 1pinch
Mace ¼ tsp
Cumin 1 tbsp
Papaya 1 tbsp


Method:


1. Marinate mutton with ginger garlic, 2 tbsp curd and salt and papaya and leave it over night in fridge
2. Heat oil, brown onion, remove and fry aloo
3. Remove ½ oil and add marinated mutton, chopped hara masala and garam masala, remaining ginger garlic and yogurt with haldi, zeera.
4. Sprinkle on top, ½ fried onion and aloo.
5. Leave it on high flame for5 mins top with ½ boiled rice
6. Sprinkle milk with saffron, juice of lemon,jaiphal,remaining onion on top
7. Seal with aata dough and leave it on high flasme for 10mins and then put it on dum for 20mins
