How To Make Mirchi Masala

Mirchi Masala Recipe by Chef Zakir Masala TV

Ingredients

  • Big green chilies 6 – 7
  • Lemon (juice) 2
  • Dry mango powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder ½ tsp
  • Crushed red pepper ½ tsp
  • Chaat masala ½ tsp
  • Chili powder ½ tsp
  • Turmeric ¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 2 tbsp

 Method

  1. • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add 1 tsp dry mango powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp crushed red pepper, ½ tsp chaat masala, ½ tsp chili powder, ¼ tsp turmeric and salt to taste.
  2. • Fry well adding a little water, slit 6 – 7 big green chilies.
  3. • Stuff chilies with a little masala, put stuffed chilies in the remaining masala.
  4. • Cover and simmer on low flame for 2 – 3 minutes.
  5. • Lastly dish it out, sprinkle lemon juice on top. Serve hot.
